With a General Election due in 2013 (if the coalition lasts that long) the Parties will now be intensifying their efforts to hold or improve their ratings which have changed little in recent months.

As I have pointed out in previous blog postings the improvement in the far-right FPO’s position since the last election is essentially at the expense of the more ‘moderate’ far right BZO. On this basis the FPO has only recovered from the ‘damage’ done primarily to its (potential) vote at the time of the last election by the intervention of the BZO. The only noticeable improvement since the last election (moderate as it is) has been from the Greens.
